One of the main iconic features of the masjid is its golden dome and the recently built minaret. The dome has Turkish style multi-coloured stained glass windows around the dome. Light enters from the windows on the dome into the main prayer hall.
Externally, the dome is a gold colour making it a visible landmark within the local area.
The completion of the minaret has been the latest development for the masjid. Within the original plans of the masjid, a minaret was always included. Due to external factors, the minaret was not built during the time of the main construction period for the masjid.
